Voyager After School Program
Voyager is an after school program run and facilitated by Kiker teachers. The program runs 2:50pm – 6:15pm* each day that AISD has a school day. Voyagers will enjoy a daily snack (provided), have supervised play, homework time, reading, computer, crafts, and learning fun with certified teachers using an enriched, hands-on curriculum. * Late pick-up after 6:15 pm is in the cafeteria or on the small playground with the site-director until 6:30pm. After 6:30pm, a late fee of $5.00/minute will occur.
The Voyager after school program is looking for the right individual to join our team. Do you like working with children ages 5-11? Can you work Monday through Friday from 2:30-5:30? If you can, you may be perfect for our program. Duties include checking in students, handing out snacks, and monitoring children at recess and in the classroom. The hourly rate is $10.00. If you are interested in more information, contact Nicole Dean at 512-228-2393. We are also accepting applications for individuals that want to be a voyager aide substitute. (Background checks will be conducted by AISD during the application process.)
